I went to see The Dark Knight Rises on Friday night with some friends, and didn’t get home until 3am. The movie was great, the time with friends was even better, and I don’t at all regret the insane hours, but good grief. I’ve somehow turned into an old woman. It’s Monday, for crying out loud, and I’m still dragging. Three cups of coffee, and nothing seems to work.

I stumbled on this picture online today (can’t find the source), and I think it properly describes how I feel— grinning my face off (because really, life is beautiful), and grimacing at the same time (because life is also a bit heavy).
