I’m an obsessive list-maker, as anyone could tell you. Daily lists, weekly lists, grocery lists, gratitude lists, lists of goals, lists of ideas, lists everywhere. My office is absolutely full of them. My favorite list to make each year, though, is my Personal Goals & Objectives list. Sometimes I write it in January, more often I write it around my birthday (I’m overly ambitious, so it rarely gets done before the end of January. and my birthday is in February, so it all works out in the end). Top goal for this year? “Learn to love running.” Not to just learn to run, but to cultivate a love for it.
Well, guess what? It’s July 2, and I can cross that off the list. I love running. I can’t get out there as often as I’d like, but I’m a big fan. So much so that I’m training for a half marathon in ten weeks. Crazy, right? The girl who, four months ago, dreaded the very idea of putting on running shoes and swore she’d never run a 5K race is now training for a half marathon. Crazy how things change, right?
Regardless of the heart change, though, this is still accurate:

Some things never change. Like the excitement I get when I look at the back of my camera after a good shot:
One thing on my list that I reeeeeeealllly wanted to happen this year: Europe. Not sure I can work that out, though. Still, a girl can dream.

We’re all still holding onto hope for your Europe trip. C’mon, Sarah!
4 Months?!? This encourages me to keep on getting out there and running my heart out. #operationloverunning Thanks Sarah!!
