monday medicine . 06

I spent yesterday with my family celebrating Father’s Day and three birthdays (we do things big at my house)— steak, shrimp, burgers, corn on the cob, and great sweets afterward. The boys (I suppose they’re considered “men” now) played a rousing, hilarious version of basketball in the pool, and the girls sat on the sidelines, sunbathing and squealing whenever they splashed us. It was a perfect day. The only downside? I left my camera down there, so had to get up early this morning and make the drive back down again to pick it up. Bummer!! NOT how I’d planned to spend my Monday morning! Thankfully, my friend Lauren was free to drive with me, and we had some great coffee/talk time.

And now back to real life…

Assateague ponies. I spent Saturday at Assateague Island with some friends. Sunshine, great waves, rest… and ponies that ate our chips. True story.

A friend posted a link to this site (28 biggest kid fails of all time) on Facebook this morning, and I laughed so hard I snorted. What is it about physical comedy that I find so hilarious? NO idea. A few of the funniest:
