I deal with some health challenges as part of my daily life. These health challenges require a rather restrictive diet (read: no grains, no dairy, no legumes, and I’m supposed to stay away from sugar). It just so happens that this kind of diet is popular right now, thanks to also-popular workout routines. The Paleo Diet (also referred to as the Caveman Diet, Stone Age Diet, and Hunter-Gatherer Diet), although restrictive, has been an absolute life-saver for me.
Especially when “restrictive” means this:
This would be an almond flour chocolate cake with coconut milk whipped cream, topped with fresh raspberries. Not to shabby.
