even more things in order

So remember that post last week that started out with something like, “Ohmygosh, I can’t do this anymore, please somebody put me out of my self-employed misery”? Yeah, that one. I received such sweet bits of encouragement from so many of you. I didn’t intend for it to be a desperate cry for help, but… well, I think that perhaps I was more desperate than I realized. I needed every bit of uplifting that I could get. Thank you all for that.

I intended to spend the day out of “the office,” in a class on recording keeping and accounting for non-accountants. (As much as I abhor the thought of spending the day on such a tedious subject, I realize that it is my responsibility as a business owner to understand all of the ins and outs of my business. I’d rather know more than I need to apply than not know enough.) However, it turns out that it’s incredibly unwise for me to plan to try to understand bookkeeping and accounting in the middle of my busiest month of the year. So instead, I’m catching up on long-overdue office work and searching for… you guessed it, a bookkeeper.
